thanks J R, I think it’s super cool because it is not a conversion, but original custom factory job at Sho Bud... possibly the only one like it in existence... this is some info I got from the previous owner...

The story i was told was the original owner did not know how to play and someone suggested he learn non pedal steel first. So he sent it back to sho bud and they put that neck on it. He then got it back put it it under his bed until it was sold a few years ago. |

Hi Damir,
Just letting you know, that Tony Browne of the UK,
plays what looks like a LDG D10.
Tony, has a number of videos on U-tube using this
SHO-BUD LDG D10 playing Classic Country songs.
And, he's a very good player, to say the least.

Damir,
Thank you for identifying Tony's Sho-Bud. I'm not
good at identifying different Sho-Bud models.
It just appeared to me, to look like the one, you have
for sale.
The one you have for sale, looks great. Good luck on
it's sale.

PM sent
I play an "LDG Custom" D10 which seems to have an interesting journey and also appeared in a couple threads on the forum well before I found it. It is however a full D10, but I was touring with it using E9 and the back neck for one non pedal song in the show so I later had Tommy Cass remove the C6 pedals when he did some work on it. Later I read Jerry Garcia did the same. Mechanics are still in place so it can be easily switched back to a full D10
