As some may be aware from previous posts, I was experiencing a serious problem with a very early model Hilton pedal that was acquired in a trade deal. Shipped it to Keith along with a check for the quoted price of the repair. However, the work performed turned out to be much more involved than anticipated and not only required additional parts but was much more labor intensive. Keith kindly but firmly refused to accept my offer of additional payment. Would like to express my gratitude publicly for his outstanding customer service that went above and beyond expectations. Have used his volume pedals for years (as well as his delay pedal) and this is the first time any have needed necessary repairs. Received it in the mail today and it sounds and functions as new. |

I have an older Hilton volume pedal with the attached power supply that I had to repair the wiring going into the pedal a couple of times. I must have gotten a little too crazy with the solder the last time and screwed it up. I called Keith and he said he could convert it to the new style detachable power supply but talked me into the older bulletproof ones. He charged me a flat fee which was way more than reasonable and offered to add a red led power indicator light at no additional charge. The turnaround on the pedal was increadible, just a few days and it was better than new. There aren’t many like Keith out there anymore but it seems like all the ones there are belong to the forum which speaks volumes about the steel community especially in this current world. Way to go Keith. |
