Has anybody used a octave pedal to play in the lower register like the "Don't Worry" solo?

No, I use a fuzz on that song, and I also lower the 10th string to "A". That comes pretty close, but I imagine you could play it on a higher string and use an octave pedal. (I sort of avoid using pedals that are only good for one song.) Of course, you can also, with a little practice, just wind a string down and back up. I've seen that done too. Smile

I was thinking about the octave pedal from the context of a single neck guitar and being able to get the low sounds from a guitar that doesn't have that range.
