I thought forum members might like to see this early 1970s rosewood Emmons S-10 that I recently picked up. This is the best sounding PSG I've ever owned. I had Tommy Cass do some mechanical work on it and it plays great. The guitar has some dings, but I'm lovin' it.

This picture was taken last night at an outdoor show in Connecticut… yes, an outdoor gig on October 21 in New England, playing until midnight! The temp was 30 degrees when we finished… but the old dinosaur performed well. The steel guitar worked fine too

Doug, that's really nice... I've had a data base crash, and lost a whole bunch of contact info. E-mail me Mike's e-mail so I can get in touch with him, please.

Thanks...

Thanks, I think you are referring to Mike Cass? Tommy Cass worked on this steel.

Doug,

When I heard you play that single 10 Emmons, I really couldn't believe the great sounds it produced. They always say it's the player, not the instrument. I've got news for those who haven't heard that particular Emmons guitar. It's a cut above the average 10 string steel guitar.
