I was listening to a "Best of Earl Klugh" CD tonight and the last cut had this great steel guitar on it. Turns out it was Lloyd Green from Klugh's 1980 album "Dream Come True". The song is "I don't want to Leave You Alone Anymore". Another genre that should have a lot more steel guitar in it.

Steel solo at 1:50 and then some really nice fills between the vocals after Earl's solo - Eh, just listen to the whole song.

Thanks Bill. I hadn't thought about Earl Klugh for a while. Never heard that tune either that I recall.

Nice music from 2 greats. Always a treat to hear Lloyd.

Beautiful music! Lloyd is Mr. Steel Guitar like Chet Atkins was to guitar. He never fails to play his part with the utmost in musical taste. What a musician!

Lloyd can play on most genres of music. Even today he is full of fresh new ideas that no-one has come up with before. That's what having a great brain does for you.
