I tune my p/p to 440 on the 4&8th strings pedals down. The unwound strings drift about 8 cents up with no pedals and the wounds about 5-6 cents.I use Newmans chart as reference for the other strings but usually end up tweaking around it.Ive read numerous posts about tuning but straight up doesnt sound good to me alone or with the band.Could you post your references for tuning your p/p IE pedaldown cents or hertz then pedal off cents or hertz as they read on your meter.Im trying to make a quick reference chart that works on stage.I try to live with slpit pedal combos as they dont sound in tune(pedal a or b alone)Thanks |

I use an old Conn Stobotuner. I tune the E's to 440 with the pedals down, then the G#'s to 440 with the pedals up. Mine has minimal cabinet drop, so it's pretty dang close all the way around.

8 cents is a lot of cabinet drop for a push pull.
I wonder, have the screws that hold the neck on been loosened, as per a recurring forum topic, in the quest for a better tone?
That would account for the excessive cabinet drop.
