I'm having trouble getting my LKR which raises F#s to G#, to pull all the way up to G#.. this is on my MSA. I've got my pull rod in the 4th hole(from body) in the bellcrank, and 2nd hole in the changer. It's only double raise double lower changer. It likes a tad pulling to G#, but I have to swing the knee lever way to far to the right, so much so, that it's hurtin my wore out back.
What do I need to do to get the lever straight up, or fairly close, before engaging it, and then not have to swing it so far to the right to get it to pull to G#?
I appreciate any help ya'll can give me.
So far I've added a 6th string lower on E9, and have added a 2nd string raise, and the 5th and 6th string lower on C6th. I hadn't had any problem with these changes, it's just this LKR F#/G# that's givin me fits. It's hooked to 3 different bellcranks, and I can't figure out how to adjust it. Thanks

I'm a bit confused with a Left Knee Right lever moving to the left when in operation

Apart from that, the first thing to do is establish if the changer is capable of raising a full tone.

To do that, disconnect all the raise rods from the changer fingers in question, and operate the fingers manually from the endplate (by pushing them with a screwdriver, for example)

If your shorten the connecting rod, between the 1st and 2nd bellcrank, this will make the kl more vertical... you can adjust to fit.

Richards advice is also good.

Richard - It sounds like he has moved the starting point of the lever way over to the left, to give it more room to swing from left to right.

Sorry, that should have been "I have to swing the knee lever to far to the right.

Well guys, sorry if I confused ya'll. BTW- I decided I'd stay confused if I tried to play my Mullen and MSA with different setups. (see my other thread)so I switched my knee levers around, and added a 6th string whole tone lower. So, now I have the same setup as my Mullen, minus the vertical lever (B's to Bb) which I'm not goin to add on my MSA right now. So the knee lever I was talkin about above, LKR is now lowering my E's, it's my RKL that I have my F# to G and 6th string lower on now. But it still won't raise to G#. So, I reckon I'll try what Richard was talkin about first then go from there. More confused now huh? I appreciate your help guys.

Never mind guys, I got the F# to G# close enough, that I can tilt the nose of the bar a tad and get right on the money.
