Here is a guitar I built about 7 years ago for myself.
It features an Allparts alder body finished in Mary Kaye blond nitro, and has a huge maple neck. Its an Allparts SMO model neck and is 11/16 wide at the nut, 9.5 radius, and No Caster 1 inch deep nut to 12th fret. Its a full neck for sure, but plays like butter. The frets are standard 6105's, and in good shape, though they have some minor wear . The bridge came off a Fender roadworn strat, and the control assembly/pickups is from an import Japanese strat type guitar, but it was better sounding than the real Fender roadworn assembly. The guitar plays and sounds like a great strat should. This is no amateur build, and competes with any USA made strat for a lot less. It will ship in a Fender 60's G&G hardshell case that comes with the custom shop strats. Almost forgot, its 7 lbs 14 oz, of tone. If you want a killer strat that wont break the bank, this is it!!!
$675.00 Shipped gets it. (SOLD)

Lets make it $625.00 shipped. Its a steal at this price, as i have more in the neck and body alone than the price of the guitar. I assure you, this guitar will put a smile on your face, its that good. |

Orlando, I have a Strat that was built by a guy that did custom work for Fender. I love that Strat.
I need another Strat like I need a hole in the head, but it's nice looking.
I am thinking about it. Will let you know in a couple of days. |
