I'm hoping someone can help me identify this most interesting steel. D-8 with sliding/adjustable pickups. It looks to me to be 1940s or 1950s but that is just a guess. Thanks

My guess? German or Eastern European; late 1950s.

Neat...different tailpieces for some reason. Those pickups look like little padlocks...
