I only remember his birthday because it is one day before mine. I sure miss the Big E and what he brought to the table. He had everything a steel player could want when it came to steel guitar. |

Big E's birthday has a reminder in my Mac calendar, as does the day he died. Both remind me what a monster talent he was, to appreciate his many contributions to our instrument, and to keep aspiring! _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I wrote to the President and requested that Buddy's birthday, January 27th be named National Steel Guitar Day, but haven't received a reply. (He is kinda busy...)
