Anyone else have this? Moved double raise string-four from vertical LK to LKL. Never used it before, now with A&B it sounds great, and easy to reach and use. Have LKL raising string 4, two frets. Have LKR lowering string 4, one fret. Have RKL raising string 4, one fret. Lots of great tone changes. Use it as much as D-lever or F-lever.

I had the E to F# raise on an extra knee lever (in addition to, not instead of) the C pedal and decided it wasn't worth it. I took it off.

Just one of many uses, in the key of C: at the 8th fret (call it R lever for raise): At fret 8, ABR gives Dm, release R and you have F (a common progression). Or ABR at fret 8 (Dm) release to A pedal (Am) a common change, to fret 10 ABR (Em), release R to G chord. Or ABR at fret 8 (Dm) to fret 10 (release R) is G a (common change). Or ABR at fret 8 (Dm), back to fret 6 with D lever is Dm inversion. Or fret 3 ABR (Am), release R to C chord, or etc. Too many uses to list. Easy to use.

Jack, I agree totally with the posting (hadn't seen it before), I knew Pete Drake used a double-raise lever on his 4th-string. What made it work best for me, was changing it from vertical-lever (hard to use), to LKL. Tim I haven't played a club in years. Played Tumbleweed, and 12 O'clock Club in Chattanooga, years ago. I just enjoy playing along with CD's now, and trying to write songs. Where do you play in Athens?

Mickey I play in Inglewood on Fri and Sat night. We do real old country 1970 era with a few good songs like wonderful tonite and some new Straight and Jackson stuff. Would love to do some Chakler tunes or classic steel instrumentals but we have 2 singers. They said next weekend I could plug my amps in if the crowd was light.Maybe you could coach me along some if you have time.

Tim, I'm sure you could teach me. Plug the amp in and play,...ignore them.
