I was wondering if anyone else used these on cleaning/polishing steel guitar parts,I use them on legs changers even on my fretboards. They also do a bang up job on stovetop.

If that's the same as a "magic eraser", I used one on the changer(s) of my Mullen G2 when I changed all the strings a few days ago. It did a pretty good job of removing the string marks without doing anything else. The fingers were smoother afterwards, but no less round.

Yep! I used one to clean my banjo head Very Happy
It is a mild abrasive, so I wouldn't use it on finished wood.
