Lots of options on this pedal, maybe overkill for steel, what say you.

I did try one, and as with all Strymon pedals I've tried, it was great. Ultimately went with the Eventide SPACE and Empress Reverb pedals.
A wealth of options these days, but if all you want is a simple basic reverb, it is a bit much.

If the 'Blue Sky' is still in production, that is basically the same great sounding unit sans the extras.

I use one and it works great. It is expensive, though, and I bet there are many modern reverbs that would work just as well, since I don't use most of the features on the big sky. To tell the truth, the reason I got the Big Sky was to make sure that THAT was not the problem in getting the sound I was after... Smile

I had the Blue Sky but preferred the Neunaber WET.
