So recently I've started seeing all these postings and various things about a guy named Merlin Gene Grigsby. Is this an artist that has been around or just started out? I do know he wears really nice rhinestone suits (which I think is super cool). I'd just never heard of him (and I listen to anything and everything, even the obscure stuff). Anyway so I did my google search on him to learn more and came up with very little. I enjoy some of his music but just want to know more about him.

I don't know what his last name is but I saw a new program on RFD TV this past weekend that was entitled the Merlin Gene show. I had never heard of him but he was an older guy and had a great band with Doug Jernigan on steel. I think the show will be on each week.

yep that's him. Its like all of a sudden I'm literally hearing Merlin Gene's name a lot and I'd just never heard of him before, like at all. Is this an artist that has been around?

I can look at him and listen to him and tell he's been around for decades. But...I'd never even heard of him until you posted his name. Exclamation

Is that Doug Jernigan on steel? Yes... Absolutely.

Where has Merlin Gene been all my life?
