Sad time for TX music. Tommy was legendary both in West Texas and in Austin. His family still makes music.

Thanks to my Dad, Tommy hired me to play guitar and Steel when I was 17 years old. I was a decent rock guitar player but had only been playing steel for three days. His family is my family, he was a great person and amazing band leader, taught me a lot! Sad to see him go..
