For those who are interested, the time we'll play has been moved to 9:45pm (Nels Cline will follow us).
Mike, I look forward to seeing you next week! _________________ www.susanalcorn.net

That's so great that you're playing this festival, Susan. Congratulations on all the success you've been having. As luck would have it, I actually am in NYC that night, but am playing a showcase that night across town. _________________ www.JimCohen.com

Two pedal steels blaring through their amps in Manhattan on the same cold Saturday night - I'm sure our notes and sounds will meet somewhere in the ether (or maybe the East River). Have a great gig, Jim! _________________ www.susanalcorn.net

Susan, good luck on the gig with these wonderful musicians. Wish I could be there (but I don't come back from sunny Mexico till later in the month).
I am in a jazz/pop quartet in Providence: guitar, bass, drums, steel. Pretty interesting blend of sounds. It would be great to do a double bill sometime with you and one of your aggregations!
And thank you once again for taking our instrument in different directions.

Thanks Jim, Chris, and Mike.
The review. Well, they mentioned my age right off the bat, and said my solo work was drone-y, but . . . they did spell my name right, put in a photo where I don't look like death warmed over, and, most importantly seemed to like the music. And, like you say, it's the venerable Gray Lady.
All this is totally random; they could have picked anybody - there were hundreds of great musicians playing in town that weekend, including Jim Cohen and Mike Neer - and it doesn't have anything to do with how good the music is, etc. _________________ www.susanalcorn.net
