2004-2008 I believe. I bought a JazzKing and later traded it in when the new SteelKings came out. Still have it, great amp for solid state and something geared for pedal steel. |

Someday, amp manufacturers will figure out that an ordinary combo amp cabinet doesn't have to be heavy, and doesn't have to be built out of 3/4" wood. |

With respect Donny,
TELONICS did that a number of years ago.
Cheers,
Murray. _________________ '99 Zum D-10 9x8,

My Quilter Travis Toy model is 27lbs - that's 200 watt amp, speaker and cabinet. |

I believe the Steel King and Jazz King are nearly the same amps. The Steel king is rated at 200 watts with a 4 ohm speaker and the Jazz King is rated at 140 watts with an 8 ohm speaker. I have owned both and they are very nice amps. _________________ I survived the sixties! |

I installed SICA Neo speakers in my two main amplifiers.
The Fender Steel King (with casters) now weighs 49 pounds.
The Evans FET-500LV (large cabinet) (with casters) weighs 51 pounds.
For comparison, a Peavey Nashville 112, with the stock speaker, weighs 43 pounds. _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande
