| Gary, I don't mean to hijack your thread but these are full range powered cabinets. They can be used as monitors but they can do a lot more than that. I have them and find them great sounding speakers. A bargain at this price as well. |

As Bill stated, these are really nice powered PA speakers. I have two of the 15" versions of these. The dual inputs with independent volume controls are a really nice feature as you can put an audio source in one channel and a steel source into the other.
The ones I have are rated at 1000 watts each.
