Hi, Could someone measure the thickness of their Sierra Session neck. I need to know for a project. Many thanks. _________________ LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GEORGIA |

For what’ it’s worth, I have a 96 and an 01 session, the 01 is an S-12 and has thicker wood than the 96 D-10, neither are as thick as the neck on the crown series, which goes all the way to the pickup lip. Neck on the D-10 is just shy of 7/8â€
including the mica, deck to the bottom of the pickup lip is about 1 7/32†_________________ I swear they tuned it when I bought it

Keep in mind that the Sierra neck has a compound slope on it. It’s thicker and closer to the strings under the fretboard to reduce the parallax effect and thins down considerably toward the pickup. |
