Amen, brothers. If you live out west, he’s the man. Well worth the trip to Oceanside, or at least give him a call.... great guy (and instructor) and can fabricate parts as well as do super setups.

Jim helped me to figure out how to install a right knee lever kit on my Sierra Artist. He was super helpful, and I am grateful for his presence in our community. Steel on!

I just sent setup #2 of this month to play like a Strad or Steinway. The woman at UPS doesn't know what pedal steels are and can't understand how one guitar weighs 50+ pounds, but she knows I like sending them to Oceanside.

Also if you're selling and you're not a setup expert, you could give the buyer the option to send it to Jim P and have him give it the once over.
