SOLD my wonderful Clinesmith Joaquin S8 as am now playing short scale guitars and a short Clinesmith is on the way.
This is SN 028, figured maple, scale length 24 7/8 in, in excellent condition and sounds wonderful. The fretboard has a few small paint chips and some wear from playing as shown in photos, otherwise the guitar is mint. Todd made a new bridge and nut with wider string spacings and both are included. The wider parts are installed. String 1-8 distances in inches are bridge- 2.625 2.48, nut 2.21, 1.98. It also has a concentric stacked tone volume control (to move controls away from picking hand) as seen in the pics. This was done with an entirely new wiring harness, so the original one is unaltered and is included. I am happy to reinstall original controls if desired. The pickup guard is also included and I will install it if desired. The original case in excellent condition is included.
Price is $1100 plus shipping, or pickup in Iowa City, Iowa. I will pack it supremely well. I have lots of references for forum sales.
PS just remembered it has a cover in new condition.

What a stunner! Maybe not Bigsby-correct, but I LOVE the stacked controls. Someone got a great instrument, one of the top two on my list, but luckily I just got the other one.  |
