Came up with a way to extend my steel seat legs an inch and a half. I have one guitar taller then the other ( my ZUM ). Makes it more comfortable playing a taller guitar or trying one at the steel store.
It keeps you from having to get your pedal rods and legs re-cut and tapped.
Drilled a stop into my seat leg, tapped and installed stop bolt. Cut conduit to specified length, insert hole cover and then slip on to my seat leg ends. All under $10.00

I have since, added the adjustment to the extensions vs. The steel seat legs.
It really does the trick and you should try it.

One inch conduit. Plus a hole plug for the bottom.
Its much cheaper to do this then buy four shorter steel legs and pedal rods. Really does the trick.
You can drill several adjustment holes fro 1 to 2".

My first steel seat was a Sho~Bud.
I thought it was a bit low and I didn't like the vinyl cover so I had it refinished in upholstery fabric and added some more foam to raise it up.
