I have a p/p Emmons pickup that had an open circuit so I tried to unwind it for repair. Unfortunately I dropped it and the top plate of the former fell off and now is a mess of tangled wire that a fisherman would be proud of.
Would anyone have the specs for wire gauge and number of turns required to rewind it? It's a job I would like to do myself so any advice would be appreciated.Cheers. |

To the best of my knowledge Emmons used 42 gauge wire. the total resistance varied quite a bit however if you targeted 17.5- 18.5 you would be in the ball park. |

About 13,000,000 gazillion. Unless you have a winding machine, it cannot possibly be worth it. _________________ Emmons & Peavey |
