The Market for new USA lap Steels is shrinking GeorgeBoards

We have created the coolest GeorgeBoard ever.

All the credit goes to Mrs. Boards , she designed the miniature GeorgeBoards Console S8 ; together we completed the project into a box to hold your picks and bar.

Hope you like the photos

George, that is really a cool design. Compliments to you and Mrs. Boards on the design.

I have been looking in detail at your website this afternoon and it is fantastic.

Thanks everyone,

These are bits of the same exotic woods I made guitars from.

About 11" long X 2.875 wide on the box parts. Those are 7/8" X 3.25" Bars in the photos.
It would hold 4 bars lots of picks , some valve oil easily.

Upon close inspection , you can see the fret lines marker dots , and more details all in miniature.

We make them on the CNC Mill with a 1/16" tiny carbide milling bit.

We are probably going to make a few more for the Holidays, in case any one might want one.
I've got a few more pieces of super mahogany. For that matter I can personalize them with the laser name too.

George instead of your great brand could I get something like Eharp in the side? And did you say how much?

Hello Bill

I laser Etch the name and can put pretty much anything you might like.

The Lace Wood Is mine -- of course , so I Inlayed the Turquoise into it for the fun and art of it.

Price wise I'm thinking a hundred bucks for one in the good wood is about 1/2 of the actual value, same way I've sold all of my guitars over the decades.

This is not some big sales pitch, if some forum friends want one that would be a nice thing as a gift to your self.

BTW to get Mrs. Boards to design a different instruments than my GB's is very pricey -- lots of hours on this little Gem.

Here it is Bill,

Just a quick spray of lacquer to seal the wood. I plan to spiff it up some more.

The Mini Scaled GB is Ribbon Mahogany; the box is another Ribbon cut at a different angle to expose the ribbons along the side of your name.

Ya Just Gotta Love It Very Happy
