Hello,
I have a Emmons Lashley Legrande SD 10 and I want to change the fourth pedal to the position of the first, moving up all 4 pedals
Has someone done it on his Emmons, and does it work.

Greetings from The Netherlands

I moved my 4th pedal into the first position. Keep in mind it will change the positioning (and feel) of your knee levers. They also may need to be
re-adjusted.

That depends on the brand of steel you have and how knowledgeable you are of its mechanics.

My advise.. If you have never "tinkered under the hood" of your steel find someone more skilled who can make the changes for you.

Good Luck,

I've thought about it but I haven't done it for one reason. I don't want the A & B pedal to be any closer to the center of the cabinet. I push down pretty hard and the closer the pedals are to the center of the cabinet, the more "cabinet drop". Probably not a big deal on some models, but why tempt fate?

I ordered a couple of guitars with the "4th" pedal in the no. 1 position. I am not a big user of that pedal and wound up moving it to the 4th position. It was just in the way when stomping down on the A & B pedals.

I have always contended that PF put that change on #4-Pedal for a reason, but; I don't think anyone believed me, because; there was a lot of discussion on a Forum-Thread as to where the PF~Change belonged and many people insisted it should be in the #1-Position! Oh well! My (A)-Pedal is in the #2-Position and I don't have any pedal in the #1-Position. It's just more comfortable for me to play (A)-(B)-(C)-Pedals in Positions #2, #3 & #4! Whatever floats your boat!
