I picked up a cast aluminum model a while back, does anyone where where get a hardshell type of case for it? |

Joe, you might contact Todd. I don't want to speak for him, but he offered to me a couple years ago for my Clinesmith Model B that he could acquire a case and make the necessary mods so that it's a nice tight fit. Since he knows your guitar better than anyone, if he is still willing to do the above then you know it will be an excellent case for your guitar.
I didn't go that route, so Todd had Blue Heron Cases here in Northern California make a beefy soft case/gig bag for me and I'm really pleased with it.
On the other hand - maybe what you already have is a Blue Heron case?

Thanks for the input. Yeah Mark my guitar came with a Blue Heron bag, I was hoping that someone had found a suitable sized pelican type case for it. |

Gun cases work really well. Look on Amazon for molded gun cases with the pluck away foam. I bought one for my Frypan and it was only around $60. I should probably take the "tactical" sticker off. _________________ Steve Marinak |

Hi Joe,
I got two of them now. I've traveled at least 25 flights now with the first one in the Blue Heron case over my shoulder and put it in the overhead. Never a problem and never any damage.
Last time I traveled with two so I put one in the Blue Heron case inside my duffel bag between my clothes as checked baggage and it also arrived safe and sound 9,000 miles later. Those Blue Heron Cases are very good.
