I am always trying to find a good material for the back of my lap steels. Today in Walmart I found some nice stuff. It is big enough to do 2 guitars. It costs around $10. It was translucent enough that I could trace off the shape I needed. I cut out for the electronics pocket, but didn't like the way the white plastic cap looked. I saved the scrap piece I cut out and siliconed it only in the middle portion of the cap. I now can lift either end of the piece to get to the screws. I always wanted a matching guitar and amp. I think I got pretty close. Hope this is of help to you guys. Smile
