Hello,

My favorite bar is made by Tribotone, who apparently is no longer making bars.

I love this bar, I have had it forever, and it sounds great, however I have basically worn it out, and I need to replace it with a new bar.

Does anyone know where I could find one like it? Its a polymer bar which slides across the strings with very little string resistance.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks,

Smitty

Ezee Slide bars by Basil Hendricks on this Forum.
They’re Polymer bars like the Tribotone.
Do a search and I’m sure you’ll find a link to Basil’s site.

Check out Todd Clinesmith's bars, too:

I've used one of his (13/16 x 2-3/4) for three years or so on my McKenna 8 string resonator.

I have had all three--Tribotone, Ezee Slide and Clinesmith. They're all good and all in the same ballpark as the Tribotone.

I have two of Basil's bars and love them! I've heard great things about the Clinesmith bars as well. Steel bars just feel unwieldy and slippery to me now.
