About a year ago Billy Johnson had a post that I found in the Search archive regarding a pedal movement issue that he had on a Derby of his. I think that I've got a similar situation on mine and would like to make the same change. Here's what had gone on with his, as is quoted from that post 'Aug 2005.

---""""finally got the ABC moved to right one position (extreme left position is now empty) as newer versions are setup as i understand it.
took about 2 hours. thanks to all who passed info on to me.""""---

My question is , can this same movement of the pedals to one space over, leaving the far left space open on the pedal rack, be done on a D-10, like I've got. Currently, it's got an open space on the right, it's a 8 x 5 Emmons setup. And, if so, how do ya do it, or who can I take it to to do it for me?

Maybe I'm not making myself clear. How's this? On a Derby D-10, what space do the pedals start on the pedal rack? Is it the very first space on the far left of the floor rack or is it the second space from the left?
When I visualize pedal "A" placed in the second space, it appears to line up better with the knee levers. Or, am I way off base here?

Al: go to the allsteelguitar.com site & look at the D-10 Derby. To me it looks like the A pedal bracket is in the first set of holes for the D-10. I have a S/D 10 & my A pedal bracket is in the second set of holes.
Hope this helps.
