Hello,
My grandfather was a steel guitar player who played with several bands in the 1940's. I know he played with the Glenn Miller Orchestra after Tex Benache took over.

My grandmother died in 1948 in a house fire. My dad was nine. My grandfather played one last concert and then threw out anything related with music. I didn't know he had been a musician until after he died.

I have some newspaper articles that list him as playing the steel guitar, but nothing more. If anyone can find anything that would be awesome. Maybe a picture or something. I don't know. My parents are in
their 80's. I would like to give Dad something that was taken away.

Thank you
