I want to thank all of the members here that build some
of the most beautiful instruments in the world.
You guys are true artists. Although I can’t own ‘em
just seeing these amazing steel guitars you create
make me want to play better!
Thanks to all of you,
Steve

DITTO! If you never built one, I encourage you to try it at least once. I am positive you will have a better understanding of what is involved and the time and patience it takes. I am 90% done with one that has been taking me about 9 months. I knocked off working on it for the summer. I am dying to put clear on it, but I need cooperation from Mother Nature. I bought a Rogue in January when they were on sale for $69 with legs and gig bag. I liked the guitar and loved the price. It was not a bad little guitar.
I liked the shape. Before I sold it........for $75, I traced the shape on a piece of maple. I made a few changes to their design. Moved the jack to the side, increased the scale length to 22.5", added a Lace Pup,and changed the head to a fender style, but with 4 + 2 tuners. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will have clear on it and will be wired up. I wanted it to look sort of old, (color) but with some new goodies on it.

Hey Bill, the other day I was looking at the beautiful work you do.
I’ve made myself a few bridge’s and nuts to widen my string spacing, I
guess I could try to make a steel to install em on. 😎 and at only 65 years
old I’m thinkin sooner than later.
Thanks again for all of your work.
Steve
p.s. I loved your Hot Rod Lincoln you built.
