I have a Sho-Bud 6140, six foot pedals, no knee levers (about 1970, one with the elusive 7000 series sn) that I bought a few years back which had the pull rods disassembled at the time of purchase. With the help of some generous forum member’s guidance I reassembled it set up for a Jimmy Day C6 copedent. It was without any return springs on the racks. I have played it very little as dobro in G tuning is my main instrument. I’m thinking of retuning it to a G6 tuning so I can minimize my learning curve.
I’ll be in Nashville in November for Resosummit and would like to find someone to give it a proper set up for this tuning. My hope is to drop it off upon arrival and pick it 4 or 5 days later. And suggestions?
Also, any input on G6 tuning would be appreciated.
