It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my brother Samuel Evans Campbell born May 27, 1941 in Abingdon Virginia. Sam died Saturday September 28th at his home in Fairfax, Va. He moved to Welch West Virginia at age 3. Grew up in Welch. Spent 4 years in the USAF. Finally settled in Fairfax, VA in approx 1969. Sam and I played music as the Campbell Brothers Band playing clubs in the Northern Virginia , Maryland and DC area. Arraignments have not been completed at this time.
