I sat in last night on a Mullen RP and it felt very comfortable. I was well set-up it, so that was one factor, but also it definitly felt like the string spacing was wider than what I am used to on my Carter. I don't know if it was some kind of illusion, so I'm asking here.

I'm aware that given the same spacing at the bridge, a wider vs. narrower nut spacing will slightly affect the actual spacing in the picking area, and will have a very noticeable effect visually. That may be what I was experiencing.

On the other hand it could have been an illusion based on either the fact that I am used to an S-12 and this was an S-10, or based on the cosmetics of the guitar. I noticed that the black-color fingers make things look quite a bit different.

If someone could provide the actual string spacing measurements of a Mullen RP at the bridge and at the nut that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

My Mullen G2 is 3 1/16" at the changer and 2 1/2" at the rollers.

Hey John,
That was my guitar you played. It was interesting to hear somebody else play my rig from the audience perspective. You sounded great by the way!
