Up for sale is this Peavey Session 400 amplifier. Serial # 5A-11 3898. It still has the original speaker that was in it when I purchased it in the late 80's, (a custom manufactured for Peavey) JBL 15" spkr. Rated amp output is 200 watts. All the knobs are present, the amp sounds & works fine. Reverb works. There is black electrical tape on the ac plug where the shielding has cracked and pulled away from the plug.

These amps were built for pedal steel guitars but also used for fiddle & guitar. I've owned four different models of this amp. This particular amp plus another I have for sale (Nashville 1000, exc condition w/road case/wheels) have mostly been back up amps, thus never seeing as much use as my others.

Side note on amp history: when steel player Paul Franklin came to Livingston MT w/Vince Gill for 'The Livingston Hoot' festival, he used both of my amps, (Session 400 plus Nashville 1000). That's on the youtube video where he's playing my Mullen dbl 10 (borrowed guitar for a quick one night gig). I didn't sound any better on that equip. after Paul used it but he sounded great that night! Lol.

Sorry to say I am having to cut back on my equipment accumulation. $300 plus shipping if not local pickup.
