Checking the possibility of finding Carter knee lever hubs for direct, left acting levers. See highlights in this photo I lifted off the forum. These bolt directly to the cross shaft and don't use remote linkage to connect.

I could use probably 2 for LKL and 1 for LKV. Don't need the flag, just the hub. Maybe a cross shaft for a D10 too.

PM me with price and details if you have something.
No, not going to Canada for these.

I'll consider similar hubs from other makers that will fit a 3/8" square shaft.

I could still use 2 hubs if anyone has those. See pics.

I've acquired some raw 6061 stock and set aside several hours for fabbing the stuff myself though as the prospect of finding these particular ready made parts seems unlikely.

I happened to have 1 stop assembly in the parts pile, so didn't have to fab one, but the remaining 2 will have to be made.

So far, it's a matter of hacking, die grinding, dremeling, drilling, tapping, sanding, filing with ordinary hand tools save the drill press and 1" belt sander. It's a lot of work, sweat and aluminum dust, but I can do it if I have to.

This is the CLKL I have just installed. I borrowed the concept of drilling the cross rod and installing 1/4" aluminum round rod with a spring in the butt end. No bearings needed...the shaft can rotate on the rod.

Poor boy...poor ways...but doable. Winking
