I will be giving webinar on Saturday, November 16 at 1:00 pm EST called Triadic Mechanics. It is a lesson designed to get you improvising in any style of music using the simple but expansive concept of triadic harmony in Major, Harmonic and Melodic Minor scales. This lesson will not be dealing with a specific style or tuning, as it applies to most common tunings. Just a note: I am a lap steel player and my teaching is geared toward that; however, a pedal player could benefit from this concept greatly.
The possibilities are daunting and yet this practice is easy enough for a player with basic knowledge of tertian harmony to gain great benefit from it, as it can get you out of playing in the usual go-to positions. So, it can go as deep as you are willing to take it.
The cost is $25. For more information, see http://www.steelinstruction.com
There is limited space available. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links

Hey Mike,
If I sign up and wind up having to be out of town that weekend, would I still be able to view the webinar later? I'm not particularly familiar with the webinar format. Is there some opportunity for interaction? While that would be pretty cool, you don't want to be completely waylaid by questions or comments that stray too far from the topic: "Well, actually...." Are questions typed in by the participants? I guess that would give you the opportunity to choose how much time you want to devote to a response.
Edit: Okay, by following the second link I got the answer to my first question - "yes".

Bill, there will be limited live interaction, probably prompted. The webinar will be archived and available post-live.
There is a lot of material to cover, but thoroughness and cohesiveness are more important than bulk. I realize that more advanced applications may require a second program, especially since this is meant to be inclusive to all levels. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Mike, just signed up, looking forward to this!
By the way, reviewing my place order, the dates in 3 places were today's date, but the final one was inline with the name of the webinar, so that could be misconstrued as the event date.
How long is the webinar? _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

There are just a few slots left. I am limiting this to 25.
I’ve been working super hard on the materials for this seminar and I do believe that it is of great value to those willing to put in the work. Just in terms of harmonic awareness, fretboard freedom and a new set of tools for improv, this is a system I created for my own purposes and rely heavily on in my own playing.
Again, the webinar will go live on Nov. 16 at 1:00 pm EST and the duration will be 2 hours. The webinar will be archived for viewing at your convenience for a period of time, probably 30 days. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
