Hi
I am looking for some pre- 1983 pedal return springs
needs to fit 3/8 inch crossbars, anyone have them for sale
or where i might find them?

The return springs on MSA guitars are not needed. If the pedals are adjusted properly (in height and in their functioning), all the pedals can be positioned at the proper height. Current guitar manufacturers discovered that return springs only add to the resistance of the downward pressure to the guitar's pedal depressions.
