This guitar has been sold.

I have a Grammer acoustic guitar for sale. It is from the late 60's according to the serial number. The guitar sounds great, plays good and looks pretty good. Price is 1500.00. Comes with a hard case.My camera is not great but if you need more pics let me know.

Man, Billy Grammer could make a guitar sing. He was a great instrumental stylist. I have one of his albums that I love to play, even though, no steel on it.

I have a blonde "RG&G" version Grammer, similar to this one.
The RG&G versions are the best models.

I worked for Little Roy Wiggin's Nashville music store. At the time Little Roy was President of Grammer Guitar Co. At this point the Grammer Guitar Co had been through 3 owners, including the Ampeg Amp Co, after the original (RG&G) company. The store was the factory outlet for Grammer Guitars.

You are right Jim. He was a great player. I got this guitar from Odell Martin who was a Grammer rep. at the time, matter of fact Odell made the Grammer demo record.

I have the test pressing record of "Martin Plays Grammer". Little Roy Wiggins and Odell Martin.

A side note on the Grammer Guitar that Odell used on the recording session. The guitar was one that was sent back to the factory for repair. That happened to be the only available guitar other than a new one.

That's right Jack. Odell was up here and had to leave to record the album. I think I still have that on tape.

I had the pleasure of playing one of these once. The neck was a bit thin for my monkey hands but that thing sustained like crazy. Fantastic tone and resonance. Someone will be happy with this one.
