I took the advice of Ricky Davis and purchased a set of tuning rods from John Coop Sr. and I have to thank him for turning out such a great product. The old D-10 tunes up real easy now and it looks a lot better with the ends of the rods being flush with the end plate. John was very prompt and answered all my dumb questions and even put a nice little gift in with the tuning rods.
So all you Sho-Buders get in touch with John Coop if you need any parts for steel. You won't find better made quality parts anywhere. Thanks again John. |

Hey Good going George; and it's a beautiful sight ain't it?
Them being flush with the end plate and NEVER having to worry about tuning slipage EVERY again; is the clincher.

I recently purchased a knee lever kit from John Coop, as well as some fretboards, and the service was friendly and very quick. Thanks John for keeping us old Sho- Budders
going! Great parts!
