I have a 1973 ShoBud Model 3169,with rack and barrels. Is this a push pull or all pull guitar. I’m new at all this. All answers will be greatly appreciated.

I think the model is 6139. Anyway, Sho-Bud professional guitars are all pull...which means that the pulling finger is riveted in the middle and swivels on ea. section to raise or lower a string by pulling the linkage the same direction.

https://www.steelguitar.com/index.html# Go to this site, select the LEARN button...what's this part... and you will see links to both all pull and push pull design.

Happy pickin' and good luck with your experience.
