I recently acquired a late 50s Fender steel with a vintage tweed case. Nice case, but it has black stains all over one side (what I assume came from mildew?).
Any advice on how--if at al possible--to remove or mitigate the stains?
Any advice appreciated!

"30 Seconds" contains Sodium Hypochlorite which makes it, essentially, bleach. Try it on an inconspicuous area before using it on the entire item... |

Mark, Try WD-40 on a small spot before you buy expensive cleaners. I had a stain on my new speaker cabinet (cat whiz) that wouldn't come off with other cleaners. No problem for WD-40. I've not tried it on mildew, but have had good luck with it. You probably have a can out in the garage? Good luck.
