I just bought one because my Tele sounds great through it. It's a 1980's unit. I have yet to plug my steel into it. Has anyone here ever used One? If so, what do you think of them as a PS amp?

I really like the tone out of mine for pedal steel. I like my Nashville 112 better. The weight difference may make the 112 sound better Very Happy That Renown is pretty heavy! I like the sound of a Tele through the Renown as well but you have to have the foot switch, which mine didn't come with. It is LOUD! I feel they are a good deal on the used market. I paid $75 for mine.

Ouch! I paid $250 for mine without the footswitch. I like it, but I think I'll have to get tougher with the store I bought it from now on. Thanks for the reply.
