I am soon to find out but am just curious as what to expect from a GL 10-1 pickup on my old Marlen.

I will say I am fond of the original pickup in many ways but it seems to miss a bit of low end. It has nice midrange and highs are a bit bright. . . It has a coil tap which sounds a bit acoustic and interesting. I am trying to soften the highs and beef the lows and maybe get a little woodier tone . . I ordered the 10-1. I guess I'll see if that old single coil is better than I think.
