Needing to extend my desert Rose pedal rods probably about 2 rounds. Does anybody have 3 older Mullen (or any brand) Rod ball joints that are the long style with the hex on top?

I have plenty of the standard. I'm needing some longer like the ones in the picture and stated in the ad. _________________ Dick Lotspeich |

Type in a search for "quick disconnect ball joint linkage" adding the thread size you need. |

It looks like you need just a 1/2" extension, not the whole ball joint.

Thanks Fred. I only need about two threads maybe three more than what I have.I'm afraid if I use a standoff or a thread coupler and add the stud to convert it back to male to fit my female disconnect that's going to add way too much length to it. My pre Royal melon disconnects are a quarter of an inch longer or more. That would take care of the problem if I can find them. _________________ Dick Lotspeich |

I don't know about the Desert Rose but some steels you can raise the pedal bar slightly thus lowering the pedals. Butch in NC |

Desert Rose has turned solid aluminum front legs. Buy new rods,or cut and TIG 1/4" in old ones,or longer ball joints are the 3 choices Id say. Longer ball joint is the easiest. Could make new rods myself I suppose. _________________ Dick Lotspeich |

Just did some measuring with calipers. Mullen joints are not much different than what I have,, maybe a few thousandths. _________________ Dick Lotspeich |
