A friend of mine brought me his Excel double ten steel guitar for repair and renovation. It needs a lot of TLC (looks like this steel hasn't been played in quite a while) but mainly it needs a bracket for the L->L knee lever (the bracket being the piece that holds the knee lever itself to the crossbar). The old one broke and is now missing but I have the knee lever so I just need this bracket piece to put it back together.

If anyone has an extra Excel knee lever bracket or if you know where I can find one of these, please let me know. I'm happy to buy it from you.

Thanks,
Bob M.

Mitsuo (Mr. Excel Steel Guitars) sells parts, but he might or might not have it depending o what it is.

Can you post a photo of the part you're looking for?

Mitsuo will have those--they're the same parts as his bellcranks, and I bought some from him a few months ago. I don't know about the stops, but they're easy to fabricate.
