A few decades ago i had a 3 leg 6 string Fender Deluxe and used an Ernie Ball volume pedal, but let it get away. i'm wondering what volume pedals are favored for lap steels such as the Ric frypan and Bigsby/Clinesmith. Thinking to go low profile and passive this time out. |

Although they're far from low profile, the big old clunky classic aluminum Sho-Bud volume pedals work just fine for me, either standing or sitting. I have three of 'em. They're easy to service, they work flawlessly, hold their value, and with reasonable care will likely outlive any of us. |

All good info here! After doing more homework, it seems the Moyo catches my eye the most. Thanks very much. -dy |

The Goodrich low profile pedal works great for me whether its lap steel or pedal steel. |
