I'd like to give a BIG shout out for my friend Sonny Jenkins from New Braunfels Texas.
I told Sonny I would like to build me a keyless guitar before I leave this ole world.
So Sonny went to work, and built what I would say is the greatest looking and operating keyless tuner I have ever encountered in all my born days.
I told Sonny I wanted something short and compact, man is it ever, just what I wanted.
I'm not saying at all, that I'm going to have a keyless model, who knows.
I just wanted one for myself. Now I got to get busy and build it. Very Happy
Thank you Sonny Jenkins, My God richly bless you and yours.

Whoooaaa,,Fred is toooo kind,,,words to make an old, wore out man feel better!!!! It worked!!!

To clarify,,,the block that it is mounted on was just for shipping and to show how it was to be mounted,,,I'm anxious to see the guitar that Fred puts it on. Like I told Fred,,he is following the footsteps of legends,,,Winnie Winston chopped off the end of his guitar and installed a keyless tuner after he saw Joe Kline's,,,never looked back,,,pretty hard to argue with people like him,,,and Noel Anstead,,,and Schild,,Paul Redmond,,,now Ross Shafer.

Chris and b0b,,,Thanks a million!!! Too Kind!!

Eddie,,,they pretty well have to be made to order,,,I've made another one for a forum member,,,in both cases I used the roller nut from the original keyhead and converted it.

Johnie,,I have recently regained possession of a BMI that Tom Brumley gave me back in mid 80s,,,looks a lot like that one. It was the first keyless I ever saw,,been hooked ever since. I sold it to a guy that USED it,,,and USED it,,,made me sick when I saw the condition of it,,,anyway,,I got it back,,after about 30-35 years,,intend to rebuild it.
