Hi Everyone,
I know some of you have converted your combo amps to a head/cabinet configuration in an attempt to reduce weight.
I'd like to see some of the conversions you've done for such amps as the:
1. Peavey Session 400
2. Peavey Nashville 400
3. Peavey Vegas 400
4. Peavey LTD 400
5. Fender Twin Reverb
6. All others
I thought it would be interesting to see what some of you have done and any new twists on the color scheme, etc. Please post some photos of your conversions!

I had Rick Johnson Build this head cabinet for me. I cold never get the money together to get a matching cabinet made, so I just left the speaker in the original combo cabinet, and use that.

I got this Head from a guy who cut it down. It came out pretty good. It has 1/4" speaker outs so it is easy to use any extension cab. It has a pretty cool sounding Chorus, and is overall a very flexible 2 channel Head.

Richard: What is that in the effects loop?
Pete: Looks like a cool steel amp especially with the SHIFT control. How does it compare to a NV 400? |

It's a Zoom MS50-G multi-effects pedal. The Reverb died a long time ago. I use the pedal for reverb and sometimes reverb/delay.

These are cabs I built and covered. The 2-12 cab JBL D-120F, the small single cabs are 1-12 EV12L’s, the two large are single 15” JBL D-130F’s. The Twin is a 100 watt master vol. head. I really like having a two channel amp for guitar and steel.

Not a "steel" amp, but the little Bandit sounds pretty good at low volume.
