My friend, Spokane steel player Lee Lessig has a like new GFI single 10 string 3 pedals and 5 knees. Lee bought it new in December 2017. He thought he would like single necks, but was used to double, so he want back to playing his double neck. Guitar is still new, he's played it just a couple of times. He keeps his gear in great shape too.
Steel is brown wood grain formica has a GFI II pickup in it. Plays and sounds great. Comes with case and the little pouch for the legs and rods. $1995. Add $70 for shipping in US. That will cover insurance too. Probably by Fedex. You can paypal me at dhb60@centurylink.net or usps money order.
Post here on the forum if you have questions or you can contact Lee directly at 509-998-2772.

This GFI is still for sale, some of the response I've received on the steel is for the copedent. So I will post here:
Emmons pedals. P1 raises strings five and ten B to C#.
P2 raises strings three and six G# to A, and P3 raises fourth string E to F# and fifth string B to C#
The left knee moving left (LKL) raises both E's to F. The left knee moving right (LKR) raises second string from D# to E and lowers sixth string G# to G. The right knee moving left (RKL) lowers both E's to Eb. The right knee moving right (RKR) lowers the second string D# to D/C#, and lowers the 9th string from D to C#. Vertical Knee lowers strings 5 and 10 from B to Bb.
Sorry for spelling the pedals and knees out, but for any newbie's, I thought I'd make it simpler. Also the knee setup tends to favor the older style of knee lever placement, as the raises and lowers of the E's are not on the same left side. This corresponds to the the owner as he is up in years and has played the pedal steel since the 1950's. If there is anyone interested who would prefer a different knee lever set up, I can accommodate. Duane Becker |
